About the Facilitator
Aimee Sones
Mindfulness Advocate
Aimee was born in California has been teaching since 2005 and expanded her practice to include mindfulness and meditation in 2018. Throughout her professional experiences, she has seen the key role that emotional intelligence and mindfulness has had in her own success and the achievements of her students.
Aimee understands through personal meditation practice, just how impactful these tools are and is called to share them with a wider audience to empower people in their work and personal lives.
Aimee's formal education includes a Master of Fine Arts Degree from The Ohio State University; a Master of Arts Degree from California State University, Fullerton; and her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. She has attended trainings in Emotional Intelligence at Yale University and holds a certificate in Social and Emotional Learning from the University of California at Riverside.
